The route is the first Southeast Asian route opened by Mediterranean shipping in northern China, and uses Qingdao Port as the first port of the route and the only port in northern China.
The Mediterranean Shipping Company is currently the world's second largest container shipping company and has deployed more than 200 routes in more than 150 countries and regions around the world. Since entering the Chinese market in 1996, the company has continued to deepen cooperation with Qingdao Port, increase foreign trade routes, expand international transit, and upgrade strategic cooperation.
